Product Details

The ixDAS-3000A high-performance distributed acoustic sensor (DAS) interrogator utilizes AllianStream Photonics’ proprietary pulse compression coding modulation DAS technology. This cutting-edge technology transmits coded pulse laser probe signals into sensing fibers, receiving and analyzing the backscattered light signals to gather vibration and acoustic information along optical cables stretching up to hundreds of kilometers. This technology addresses the typical trade-offs between spatial resolution and detection sensitivity found in conventional DAS systems and overcomes issues with coherent fading that plague standard DAS implementations. It can cover significantly longer distances compared to traditional DAS. The ixDAS-3000A represents a significant advancement in distributed acoustic sensing, offering unparalleled performance in precision, range, and adaptability for a wide array of demanding applications.

Key Features:

Advanced Pulse Compression Coding Modulation Technology: Enhances the detection and measurement capabilities, allowing for precise real-time monitoring.

High Spatial Resolution: Provides detailed insights into vibration events over extended distances.

Ultra-Long Sensing Distance: Efficiently manages signal degradation over long-distance optical cables.

Extremely Low-Frequency Response: Capable of detecting very low-frequency events, expanding monitoring capabilities.

Applications:

Seismic Monitoring and Marine Geophysics: Valuable for studying geological formations and seismic activity.

Oil and Gas Exploration: Useful for detecting and analyzing subterranean vibrations.

Petroleum Logging: Assists in identifying and monitoring petroleum deposits and structures.
