Product Details
The ixDAS-2000 series distributed acoustic sensor (DAS) interrogators utilize advanced phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometry (φ-OTDR) technology, employing optical fibers (cables) as sensors. These interrogators work by emitting laser pulses into the sensing fiber and analyzing the backscattered light signals that return from the fiber. This process allows for the detection of vibration and acoustic information at all points along the fiber, which can extend for several tens of kilometers. The ixDAS-2000 series provides a robust and reliable solution for various critical monitoring and security applications, enhancing safety and operational efficiency across multiple sectors.
Key Features:
Hardware Demodulation: ensures long measurement distances and high precision in positioning.
